I've been writing a lot recently and finishing stories in one sitting, which makes me feel ultra-accomplished. I still have that unfinished story waiting to be conquered on my word processor, so perhaps this renewed sense of creativity will give me the strength to share that with the world. Yay.
I think, also, getting plenty of sleep has been helping. I'm working a swing shift at work, which is enabling me to stay up all night and sleep all day. Previously, I stayed up all night, but then had to get up in the morning and go to work. The result? No sleep, a fist fight with a gorilla and an unshaveable mustache. Horrors.
So those dry stretches where lethargy and listlessness are to be attributed to lack of sleep and summer heat.
Also swept up in the tsunami of creativity is who's been using her new drawing tablet to create drawings of sexy ladies! Go see them now.

Twitter's a thing
It only took nine years to get aboard the Twitter bus. By 2020, I should have a semi-active Tumblr account.

An interview, a contest, and other things.
I was interviewed by CelestialError (https://www.deviantart.com/celestialerror) as part of his monthly artist spotlight. He's pretty excited about the whole thing, so it would mean a lot to him if you read it. You can find the interview here. It's a double feature with uruseiranma (https://www.deviantart.com/uruseiranma), so that's nice.
Also, Prose That Blows 3 - All Hallow's Eve has just entered its voting stage. There are an unprecedented fifteen entries this time around, so cast your vote for which one you think belongs in which category.
I've been quiet for a while, so my apologies if anyone has felt ignored. I've been focusing on writing things that none of you would want to see, while at the same time lett
Let's turn on the juice and see what shakes loose!
Having received a burst of creative energy (thanks in part to the return of SpratFA (https://www.deviantart.com/spratfa), hooray!), I decided to look in my folder of unfinished works to see what I've been neglecting. I found a full page of description about a woman who, as she goes about her daily routine, notices that her butt has become larger. I started it a year and a half ago but lost interest in it because I couldn't think of an ending. As I read it and started writing more of it, the ending popped into my mind. Success!
With this fortuitous epiphany I thought I would air out the dirty laundry to see if it might bring inspiration. I don't usually like to talk ab
Cliff and the Calories
One of my favorite authors (and InvizQueen (https://www.deviantart.com/invizqueen)'s, of course) is Robert A. Heinlein. In an anthology book I bought for her, there contained a story titled "Cliff and the Calories."
The gist of the story is a girl who feels that she needs to lose weight in order to win over a boy. During a family trip, she visits a roadside restaurant where she ends up breaking her diet. By some circumstance I don't recall, she ends up meeting the boy she has eyes for, Cliff, and they discuss her weight.
Apparently Cliff is a regular lover of the voluptuous and the story ends with Cliff encouraging the girl to eat a preposterously large ice cream concocti
